More neck preparation. Head stock glued, block glued up for jointing with guitar body, and back of neck routed for the purposes in-laying ebony tension rod.
For guitar number two I'll be putting in an adjustable tension rod... Ah lessons learned.

These are the piece of curly maple being milled to square before we cut the angle in order to glue up the head stock to the neck.

For all intensive purposes this is the first photo... only because I cannot find the back and sides as they just arrived out of the box. Here I am preparing to glue up the two pieces of the back, prior to sanding them down to their desired thickness.
